TENUTA AMALIA

Tenuta Amalia, also called “La Rossa” for the color that has always frescoed the old manor house and the old farmhouses inhabited by the settlers. In 1925 the estate was purchased by Alessandra Drudi, aka Gea Della Garisenda, famous singer of “Tripoli bel suol d’amore” and wife of Senator Teresio Borsalino known worldwide for his hats. The estate is located in the center of the splendid Marecchia valley, embracing the two banks of the river with its vineyards nestled on the rolling hills of the Rimini hinterland. The book tells the story of this place through the voices of the children of the peasants who lived and worked the land since 1925 on the estate. A journey through time and memory.
